The free library, in three parts
Curriculum for whole units, lesson plans for a single day, and plays for the stage. Every part carries the same simple license: free to use, copy, print, adapt, and perform.
Curriculum
Full units and sequences, laid out so you can teach them as written or pull the pieces you need. Each unit gives you the readings, the day-by-day activities, the materials list, and the checks for understanding — enough to run the unit without building it from scratch.
- Use it your way. Teach the sequence as-is, reorder it, or take a single activity. You are free to adapt and reprint it for your own classes.
- Subjects at the start. Language arts, math, science, history, and the arts — general subjects suitable for a wide range of schools.
- Standards. Where a unit lists standards, we have aligned it to them ourselves. Treat the mapping as a starting point and check it against your own requirements.
Lesson plans
Single, standalone lessons for when you need one good plan for tomorrow. Each plan names the objective, walks the steps, lists the materials, and ends with a quick way to check that students got it.
- Ready for tomorrow. A plan you can read in a couple of minutes and run the next morning.
- Adapt freely. Shorten it, extend it, or swap the example for one your class will recognize.
- Honest scope. A lesson plan is one class period, not a full course. The curriculum library is where the longer sequences live.
Classroom plays
Stage-ready scripts for class readings, assemblies, and full school productions. The collection includes the public-domain dramatic canon in editions we have checked are free to perform, alongside original short plays written for the classroom.
- Free to perform. Stage these in class or at a school event at no cost, and print as many copies as your cast and crew need.
- The right edition. For older works we host the exact edition we have verified is in the public domain — never a modern, copyrighted translation or adaptation.
- Built for a real cast. Scripts note cast size and rough running time so you can pick one that fits the group and the slot you have.
